If you’re aged 16 or over and live in Scotland, you can now vote in Scottish elections. The next Scottish Parliament election takes place on Thursday 6 May 2021.
In order to vote at any election you must be registered to vote – the easiest way to register is to go online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
The closing date for applications to register to vote in the Scottish Parliament election on Thursday 6 May 2021 is at midnight on Monday 19 April 2021.
