Friday 22 November 2019
Poll cards for the UK Parliamentary Election on 12 December 2019 are due for delivery across the City of Edinburgh and Lothian regions on Friday 22 November 2019.
Your poll card will contain voting information such as the day of the poll, polling hours and where your polling place will be for the upcoming election.
This card is for information only. You can vote without it, but it will save time if you take it to the polling station on election day and show it to the staff there.
What do I do now?
If you have received a poll card, addressed to you at your current address, it means you are correctly registered and will be eligible to vote in the UK Parliamentary election on the date specified. You do not have to submit a fresh application to register to vote for each election.
If you do not receive a poll card but think you are registered to vote or you require to change your registration details please contact our call centre on 0131 344 2500– our Customer Service Assistants will be able to check our records and advise you appropriately.
If you are not registered to vote you can submit an application online – gov.uk/register-to-vote
