Household Notification Letter Issued

Household Notification Letters will be issued across Scotland, letting residents know whether they are registered to vote and if the registered elector currently has a postal vote in place ahead of the Scottish Parliamentary Election on 6 May 2021.

If someone is not included they should register now

Go to www.gov.uk/register-to-vote, or contact us to request a paper registration form. You must be 16 or over on 6 May 2021 to vote in this election and must register to vote by 19 April 2021.

Option to vote by post

Polling Stations will be open and following all public health advice with appropriate hygiene and physical distancing measures in place.  In the current circumstances, particularly the COVID pandemic, you may be thinking perhaps about voting by post.  If so and you aren’t listed in the Household Notification Letter as a postal voter, you must get your application form to us by 5.00pm on 6 April 2021. It would be helpful if you could apply as soon as possible or at least well in advance of the deadline.
